The Fotografiska Academy is a collaborative, insightful, and relevant photography education program which explores and examines all genres of photographic practice at various levels of experience. The program includes workshops, seminars, and master classes taught by accomplished photographers and industry leaders such as Dario Calmese, Elinor Carucci, Erik Madigan Heck, and Jill Greenberg.

The curriculum was developed and will be led by photographer, writer, and educator, Stephen Frailey, Chair Emeritus of the School of Visual Arts.

Master Workshop

Well-recognized for her portraits and fine art work that often feature anthropomorphized animals that have been digitally manipulated with painterly effects, Jill Greenberg will lead a conversation about each participants work to determine its strengths and weaknesses.

Celebrated for his images that evoke the comic and tragic sensibilities of the real world, New York-based visual artist Tim Davis will mentor participants through their creative process and provide individualized feedback on their portfolio of work.
